Mackin Park, on the corner of Brunette Street and King Edward Avenue, offers community members and visitors a wide variety of facilities for the sport enthusiast as well as walkers, families with young children, and organized groups looking for a great spot for a picnic. More pictures. |

The Coquitlam Little League uses Mackin Park as a home field, often utilizing the dedicated little league baseball field as well as three other baseball diamonds. Similarly, the Coquitlam Minor Football Association schedules home games in Mackin Park in the autumn on its two Class A fields, sharing the facility with local soccer teams. |
 |
| When Mackin Park is available in the spring and summer, the casual visitor will be tempted to pause and watch The Windies Cricket Club who call this well utilized park their home field. |

 |
Mackin Park is also a draw to families with young children who enjoy the colourful playground and the children's wading pool during the summer months. Covered picnic tables and benches provide welcome shade to parents watching their children or to small groups looking for a great picnic spot. |
| Tennis courts and practise court are near the Brunnette Street and King Edward Avenue intersection. A perimeter trail appeals to dog walkers, people out for a stroll, power walkers, and runners alike. The trail winds its way past all the sports facilities, providing diversion as you walk during the busy sports' seasons. |
