2000- Place Maillardville expansion

2001- Fraser Mills ceases operations
2002- Village Credit Union opens a branch in Chilliwack
2005- Village CU sells assets to VanCity CU…end of a significant aspect of life in
Maillardville
- Maillardville Residents’ Association founded (incorporates 2006)
2006- Third attempt at Maillardville revitalization
2008- Société Maillardville Uni changes name to “Société francophone de
Maillardville”
- Beedie group, owners of the Fraser Mills site will develop as the “Village at
Fraser Mills
- After 17 years Festival du Bois returns to Mackin Park
